I worked with the orthopedic specialists at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children to create BraceRite. BracRite is an application that gives parents and guardians an easy way to keep track of the brace worn for scoliosis. Working with the doctors we developed an easy-to-use application that walks the patient and parent/guardian on pairing their tracker to the application.
BraceRite tracked wear and goals for the total number of hours the brace should be worn and gave better visibility to actual wear time. BraceRite can be used by just the parent, or the parent and the brace wearer together so both are involved in the process.
